Process Optimization

Process optimization is the discipline of adjusting a process so as to optimize some specified set of parameters without violating some constraint. The most common goals are minimizing cost and maximizing throughput and/or efficiency. This is one of the major quantitative tools in industrial decision making.

When optimizing a process, the goal is to maximize one or more of the process specifications, while keeping all others within their constraints. This can be done by using a process mining tool, discovering the critical activities and bottlenecks, and acting only on them. (Source: Wikipedia)

The process optimization serves to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing production processes and resource management.
Using an altered perspective on the process structures of the operation (apart from the hierarchical structure thinking) the production chains can be defined across departments to check their quality and performance using the process analysis.

The following are some of the few benefits of process optimization:

·      A so called “process map” of the company is created.

·      Processes are improved sustainably.

·      Higher quality is achieved.

·      Improvements are made without disturbance to the process.

For this purpose, we use the following tools and methods:

·      Business process reengineering.

·      Total quality management (TQM).

·      Lean Management.

·      Kaizen process optimization and Six Sigma for quality management.

If you want to optimize your lead times, quality standards and your material costs, and at the same time increase your competitiveness and output, then you should perform a process optimization. Even when the costs might be high, it is still essential for a company to have detailed knowledge about internal processes and adapt constantly to the realities of the market in order to survive in the rapidly changing market.

We are interested to support you in the optimization process, so that your company can confidently look into the future.

Yours sincerely,
